BENJAMIN ARGALL
I’ve always believed the spaces we create shape the lives we live. From homes and buildings to entire downtowns, my purpose is to make places better — more inspiring, more connected, and more reflective of the people who call them home.
As the founder of Argall Real Estate Group and NextHome Superior Living, I’ve built a career blending real estate, design, and community development. In 2024, I completed the renovation of our downtown Negaunee office — transforming a once-vacant building into a modern, design-forward workspace that reflects the creativity and pride of our region.
Now, I’m focused on The Montreal, a 12-unit apartment development that’s reimagining a historic downtown site into modern housing. With groundwork already in place through partnerships with the Michigan State Land Bank, MEDC, and Marquette County Land Bank, it represents the next step in creating more vibrant and livable communities across the Upper Peninsula.
Beyond my work in real estate and design, I serve on the Ishpeming City Council and as President of the Upper Peninsula REALTORS®, where I advocate for smart growth and stronger local economies. Whether it’s a single renovation or an entire downtown block, I’m passionate about helping people see what’s possible when creativity and community come together.

From restoring historic buildings to constructing new multi-unit housing like The Montreal in downtown Negaunee, each project is approached with purpose. I believe good design can spark pride, economic growth, and a renewed sense of belonging.
Every project begins with a simple question: How can this space make our community better? That answer drives everything I do — from the first sketches to the final walkthrough.
DESIGN
Design is where every project begins — it’s the art of turning vision into something you can feel. For me, great design goes beyond how a space looks; it’s about how it lives, how it tells a story, and how it connects to its surroundings.
My work blends function, character, and creativity, with a focus on crafting spaces that feel authentic and timeless. From choosing the right materials and colors to balancing old and new, I approach each project as both designer and storyteller — creating environments that inspire comfort, pride, and belonging.
Over the years, I’ve brought this philosophy to life through projects like the Argall Heirloom House, a reflection of modern design grounded in heritage; the vacation home featured on HGTV’s Battle on the Beach, where I worked alongside Alison Victoria to transform a coastal property with heart and precision; and my very first project, the Bungalow on Bay De Noc, which sparked my passion for thoughtful renovation and design-driven living.
Most recently, the NextHome Superior Living office stands as a showcase of that same design philosophy — transforming a historic downtown space into a modern, welcoming environment that reflects both creativity and community.
